SmartWay2 - Add-In Instructions

Overview

This guide will review the process of adding the Smartway2 add-in to your Outlook client.

Installing the Smartway2 add-in for Outlook

Please follow these steps to install the Smartway2 add-in

  1. Open Outlook and click on File in the top left corner of the windowUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
     
  2. Select Manage Add-ins. This will open up a new window directing you to the Outlook add-in website, you may be asked to authenticate with your LAN credentials. Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
     
  3. In the search box in the upper right of the Add-in windows, type in Smartway2Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
     
  4. Select the Smartway2 program from the results of the search and select AddUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
     
  5. The Smartway2 icon should appear on your Outlook ribbon in a few moments

If the Smartway2 icon does not appear in the ribbon, first close and reopen Outlook. If it still not present follow these steps:

  1. Open a New Meeting, then right click on and empty space in the ribbon and select Customize the RibbonUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
     
  2. Select the last item in the Appointment tab and click on New Group. Then click Rename. Name the new group Smartway2Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
     
  3. Select All Commands from the pull-down menu on the leftUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
     
  4. Scroll down and select Smartway2 Reservation on the left. Ensure that the Smartway2 (Custom) group is still selected on the right and click Add>>, then click OK
