What reasons should be cited when documenting reviews?

The final data collection requirements are expected to use common denial reason codes. While not required, campuses are encouraged to use the following categories which conform to prevailing practices to develop applicable procedures.

Reason Description / Detail
Course Objectives Course objectives, learning outcomes, or minimum hours are not sufficient to award credit.
Credit Overage Student has exceeded the number of allowed transfer credits per campus policy.
Incorrect Level Course is a level that cannot be applied to an undergraduate program (e.g. graduate course or developmental course).
Insufficient Grade Student has not met the minimum required grade.
Incorrect Level Course is a level that cannot be applied to an undergraduate program (e.g. graduate course or developmental course).
Non-Credit The experience is a non-credit course or activity.
No Relevant Equivalent  Course is not applicable to any program of study at the receiving campus.
Not Accredited Course is from a non-accredited institution or program.
Pending Course is pending review or awaiting documentation.
Repeated Course The course has been taken multiple times, and cannot be repeated per campus policy.
