Overview
How to archive emails using the AutoArchive feature.
Guide
- Right Click on the folder you'd like to set up for auto-archiving
- Select Properties
- Switch to the AutoArchive tab
- Select Archive this folder using these settings:
- Adjust the time frame for which emails to archive
- Choose whether to move the emails to the default archive folder located under your mailbox or to a separate/new folder.
- To move them to a separate/new folder, click the Browse button. This should open a new window. You can either select a current archive file or create a new one. Make note of where the file is located, it should default to the Outlook Files folder under your OneDrive folder.
- Click OK
- Click Apply
