1. Access LISTSERV via the web portal at: https://ls.sysadm.suny.edu/
2. Sign in using your suny.edu email address and the password you established with LISTSERV (not your LAN password).
This example uses the helpdesk@suny.edu email.

3. Navigate to List Management, click the drop down arrow and select List Dashboard. This will allow you to find the list you would like to add / remove subscribers from.

4. Once you are on the dashboard, scroll down a bit until you see the search feature and its filters. In this example, we will be using the TEST list. Go ahead and click the number representing the subscribers of the list.

5. Once accessed, you will be met with the subscriber list as well as the option to add and remove subscribers as pictured.


6. In order to add a subscriber, follow the example in green text provided and insert the users email and first and last name into the box, and then select add subscriber, make sure the Email Notification option is checked off unless you would like the user to receive an email that they have been added.

7. After adding, you will receive confirmation that the user has been added and you should see them within the list as well.

8. Removing subscribers is also relatively simple, make sure to select the user you would like to move and check them off, after click the Delete Subscriber button and confirm that is the user you want to remove.

9. Once confirmed, you will receive a notification and the user will no longer be on the list.


After all the steps, you should now know how to be able to add and remove individuals from a LISTSERV list!
