Campuses may determine a process based on local policy, preferences and staffing. Collaborative reviews that involve consultation with the original evaluator are acceptable; and a fully independent or "firewalled" process is not required. Campuses may choose to involve the original reviewer in subsequent reviews for context and added expertise.
